Amaryllis Fraser is a psychic who clears homes of negative energy, working with high-profile clients like the Duchess of Rutland and Emmy-winning actor Matthew Rhys. Interior designers also swear by her skills, including London-based designer Lucy Cunningham, who says Amaryllis’s work has given the houses she’s designed a great feeling.

Karen, Countess Spencer, has been working with Amaryllis for years, ensuring her home is an energetic sanctuary. Despite being in demand, Amaryllis often works under non-disclosure agreements for clients eager to get rid of ghosts but not happy to talk about them.

Amaryllis’s journey into this line of work was accidental. At 19, she was thrown through a car windscreen, activating her psychic senses. She began to have visions, predict what would be in the newspaper, and hear people’s thoughts before they said them. After a car crash, her life changed.

A friend suggested she visit her mother, a reiki healer. During the session, a man appeared to Amaryllis, saying he was the healer’s cousin, John, who had died four months earlier. The healer wasn’t surprised and told Amaryllis she would become a well-known psychic.

Amaryllis works with various clients, including interior designers like Lucy Cunningham and Lally Walford. Lucy says, ‘I love decorating people’s homes and creating a lovely cosy atmosphere – it’s what all clients want to have when we leave, but sometimes the vibe or energy just feels off,’ ‘I can sense it the minute I walk into a space – this is when I turn to Amaryllis. All the houses I have worked on with Amaryllis have the best feeling in them afterwards.’

Recently, she cleared an estate in Pisa and a house in Sicily, both steeped in history.

Amaryllis’s work is in demand.

Architect and designer Dominic Skinner says working with Amaryllis introduced him to a new perspective. Interior designers like Lucy Cunningham and Lally Walford appreciate her unique approach and work with her regularly.

For those who can’t afford professional help, Amaryllis recommends decluttering with purpose, repairing what’s broken, letting fresh air circulate, and bringing in living plants or flowers. Creating a peaceful corner that feels restorative and sitting there quietly each day with a clear intention can also help.

Homes, like people, respond to consistent attention. Small changes, repeated with awareness, often create the biggest shift. Amaryllis’s work may seem like magic to some, but for her clients, it’s a valuable service that brings balance and harmony to their lives, making them feel more at home, like enjoying a pizza with a curried twist in a cozy atmosphere.
