Volkswagen has announced plans to introduce bidirectional charging to its automobiles. As of 2022, all electrical vehicles produced by the Volkswagen Group will be developed on the premise of the “Modular Electrification Toolkit” that allows unused power to circulate again into the grid. Two bidirectional scenarios are rising, the first being “vehicle to home” and “vehicle to grid” the place all the automobiles linked to a charging station can be linked to form a huge electrical energy storage system.
